We build stair parts for professional stair builders, stair installers, contractors and home owners. The craftsmen at Lafor Wood Products enjoy the challenge of producing beautiful stair parts from domestic woods: beech wood, maple, cherry, oak, black locust, whitebeam, ash tree, walnut.
Every wood species can be made into a wood stair tread, stair handrail, baluster or any other stair component. Spiral stairs and curved stairs work require special attention to detail. Our computer controlled stair machinery helps us to custom build the stair parts. The variety of styles and designs for stair parts is limitless. Lafor Wood Products is able to manufacture stair parts using the customer’s templates or drawings.

We supply complete wooden stair, stair treads and stair parts for outdoor use or indoor use although we would obviously design and finish the materials according to the environment in which they are to be used. For outdoor use we recommend oak or black locust wood only. We use a special profile in order to increase the bonding surface and we also use special marine grade glue.

Hardwood Flooring

Precision milling and pre-sanding of our flooring planks eliminates the otherwise required use of a commercial drum sander and greatly simplifies the installation and finishing process.

- Lengths: 4' and up.

Grading:
- Selected, no knots, cracks, splits or other defects allowed.
- Natural, natural wood colors allowed,no knots, cracks, splits or other defects.
- Rustic, knots, small cracks, all natural colors allowed.
